    With last week’s torrential rain, we ended up with a leak in our breakfast nook. We’ve lived here for nearly 11 years and the previous owner had replaced the roof about 6 years before we purchased the property. She’d used Allied Roofing, so we called them to come take a  look. Doug Perry, the President of the company, came out this morning. He was prompt, knowledgeable, amiable, and saved us a ton of money! We thought at minimum we’d have to have that portion of the roof replaced, but Doug said it was just algae buildup blocking the rain runoff. For a mere $75, he climbed up on a ladder and  showed my husband how to fix and prevent it from recurring and told us we probably have approximately 5 more years on the roof (along providing a verbal estimate on what that will cost). We were very impressed and extremely grateful and Allied will definitely be our first call when it’s time to replace our roof.
